 Position Overview   

We seek a detail-oriented Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring our cybersecurity policies, safeguarding our data, and educating our team on best practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and incident response in an e-learning environment.

 

 Key Responsibilities   

- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and controls across Certed Learning’s platforms and digital assets.

- Monitor security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and take action to mitigate threats, responding promptly to potential breaches.

- Implement tools and practices to enhance data security, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and firewall protocols.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and resolve security weaknesses.

- Collaborate with other teams to design secure architectures and manage risk assessment for new projects and platforms.

- Educate team members on cybersecurity best practices, fostering a security-aware culture within the organization.

- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory requirements to ensure Certed Learning’s compliance and protection.

 

 Requirements   

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.

- Proficiency with network security protocols, firewall management, intrusion detection systems, and data protection tools.

- Familiarity with cloud security principles and experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to non-technical team members.
